Cold and Rainy? Time to Ride.
0
If there’s strength in numbers then we’re ready to conquer whatever weather February 10th brings. Pull on your winter gear and join with 4,000 other fun-loving people for the Worst Day of the Year Ride.
The support for this Portland bike ride is top-notch with treats including hot cocoa, doughnuts, fruit, spiced chai tea, soups, bagels, hot cider and a huge finish line lunch (all included). You’ve got a couple of ride options: a 16 mile city tour or a 45 mile challenging route. Either way, you’ll have plenty of company and opportunities to refuel.
The ride is capped at 4,000 riders. Register early so you don’t miss the ride. The Worst Day of the Year Ride is a benefit for the Community Cycling Center.
Want to Run Instead?
O.K. No problem. This year, organizers have put together the Worst Day of the Year Run on Saturday, February 2nd, complete with a costume contest, beer garden, coffee + doughnuts, soup and rolls at the finish, live music, hula dancers, and free leis.
If you’re feeling spunky, you can save $10 by registering for both the run and the ride.
